We received a couple of the new MEGA Bloks Skylanders Trap Team sets to play with and review. They were the Rocket Blaster Battle Pack with Food Fight and Cut Throat Carnival with Kaos and Wildfire and a Mystery Villain. Opinions are 100% our own.
I am very excited that there are new Skylanders MEGA Bloks sets being released with characters from Trap Team. A couple of my favorite characters from the game are now MEGA Bloks figures. Food Fight and Wildfire are fun characters in the game and they now have the ability to fire projectiles. The new play patterns for these MEGA Bloks sets include shooting at various targets. The other day I was at Toys R Us looking for Skylanders as I always do. I was also on the lookout for the Toys R Us exclusive set of MEGA Bloks Skylanders Legendary figures. I’ve been sent a ton of MEGA Bloks Skylanders Giants sets but the ones that are exclusive to different stores I buy on my own. Toys R Us had a buy a MEGA Bloks set get one 50% off and so I found this set for a little less than the Skylanders set so I bought it. No, I’m not actually saving any money by doing this but I like to get something for 50% off. Yes, I totally fell for it, but the figure is so cool and detailed.
I’m really enjoying the sets from MEGA Bloks and find myself looking closer at them each time I go to the stores now. I have many building sets and all of them are represented on my desk at work. I have LEGO, MEGA Bloks and K-REO also. I never played World of Warcraft but the sets that MEGA Bloks makes for that game are very cool looking and so occasionally I’ll pick up a small one to display.
