Andrew’s First Birthday Party

Today was Andrew’s First Birthday Party. His actual birthday is on Thanksgiving day so we are a little early. Friends and family came to celebrate with us. Andrew was looking all dapper in his Argyle sweater vest and fancy shoes. We made sure to cover him up when he ate his dinner and his cake though.

Allison baked him a special “Smash Cake”. I guess that this is the big thing right now. Even the cake that we ordered from BJs could be made into a smaller “Smash Cake” for Andrew. Isn’t it Always the Way

The day before Andrew’s 1st Birthday Party and he scratches himself from eye to tip of nose. And Allison just cut his nail the other night. We’re very excited that it will be his party tomorrow. Allison made him a little teddy bear Smash cake. I guess Smash Cakes are a big thing these days and I’m betting that Andrew Eating the cake is going to be way more messy than Eva eating her cake on her first birthday. I can’t wait to take all those messy photos.
