Warriors in Pink…

You may have noticed that this blog has gone pink for the month of October. That is to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. My wife was in a sorority when she was in college where that was their cause. She is still active as an alumni and has done the 3-Day walk and volunteered at the Race for the Cure. Both worthy causes to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation and breast cancer research.

I found a website called Warriors in Pink, this is a program sponsored by Foard. They have the Warriors in Pink special edition Mustang, that looks really sweet. You can even enter to win one. And the sale of each mustang will give $250 to the Susan G. Komen foundation. That is a small percentage of the purchase price but still a good donation.

However, if you would like to make a 100% donation and still walk away with something you can buy the $250.00 30GB Warriors in Pink Edition Zune. The donation is 100% thanks to Microsoft and Ford. A pretty sweet deal and I am totally loving my Zune these days. Maybe Allison needs one. It would be great to carry all the baby pictures on.

I walked around and checked out the booths while I waited for the race to begin. Allison also gave a great speech to the entire crowd. I am so proud of her addressing a crowd of over 5,000. She did a great job. Continue reading Race for the Cure…
