Drink it T-Rex

Photo-A-Day #3717

Today my cousin, David came over to continue work on clearing our our garden area on the other side of the garage. He did a great job and the whole raised bed area is cleared out and ready for me to add some screened loam or screened compost to try and get at least a couple of Fall based plants planted. There has to be something that we can still plant. We can’t have missed our window completely.

While David worked I watched Andrew and his daughter. She’s about a year younger than Andrew and they get along so well. Andrew totally loves her and they had a lot of fun playing together. We spent a long time outside until the sun started to bear down on us. We get a good amount of shade in the early morning but once we it about 1pm it is best to head inside.

Inside they played with a ton of the toys. My cousin’s daughter played with our new Jurassic World toys. She kept trying to make the T-Rex drink her water bottle. It was very cute so I took some photos.

This afternoon Eva, Andrew and I opened up a big LEGO set to build. It is a Dinosaur capture facility and has a ton of pieces. I had Eva start off with a couple of sets that she did herself. I built another part of the set with the help of Andrew. For a good 20 minutes or so he helped me so well. I showed him the piece that I wanted and he found them right away. But, when he became disinterested he was really disinterested. It was nice to play with him. When we built the T-Rex Andrew used it to feed himself some animal Crackers. That kid is a riot.
