The trailer and movie poster for The Lion King has arrived. That poster is adorable! The teaser trailer is pretty incredible, too. I’m not sure how they are going to do some of the things from the animated movie, but it looks like they are going to give it a go. The trailer shows the opening that we all know and then even gets into some of the more heart pounding moments of the movie, too. Take a look.
THE LION KING opens in theatres everywhere on July 19th, 2019
THE LION KING is being remade by director, Jon Favreau and Disney has announced the cast in a press release on November 1. The movie isn’t coming to theaters until July 19, 2019, but I am excited. The original animated movie was one of the best things that Disney has ever produced. I am really excited about who they have chosen to be a part of this movie. I think that Donald Glover is a great choice for Simba and of course Mufasa has to be James Earl Jones. How awesome is that! Chiwetel Ejiofor is going to make a fantastic Scar, too and a superstar like Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala is incredible! She made an announcement of her own on Facebook.
