Popes-Mas was a Success

Keeping up with my blogging over the holidays was just not happening. I wound down big time and spent as much time as I could with my family. Whether it was going for visits with relatives or hitting the movies with the kids and Allison we kept very busy and by the end of the day I was lucky if I got my photo posted. Now I’m back on track and will have to backtrack and fill in content with my photos from the past days. So many things happened during our vacation and I want to keep them all recorded on this blog.

Today was the last day of my vacation. I had to go back to work after we had our friends, the Popes, come down from New Hampshire to have a special holiday meal. We had my turkey from work and Allison made a bunch of tasty extras like green bean casserole, roasted potatoes and we got some very delicious stuffing from Munroe Dairy. We had a great time with everyone and the kids had lots of fun playing together.

Feast Day

Today was Feast Day at Eva’s school. We missed that last year because it was the day that Andrew was born. My sister Tara took her to the event last year and we missed seeing how cute she and all her classmates were. Feast Day this year she was a turkey while other classes were Pilgrims and others Native Americans. She had a cute little turkey hat and made an adorable turkey centerpiece. Continue reading Feast Day
