This news is pretty epic and one of those things that make so much sense that I can’t believe it hasn’t been done before. Lionsgate announced today that they are working with the app Actiview and & Nyle DiMarco to bring their movie WONDER to the hearing impaired. The Actiview app can completely sync with the movie as it plays and it will show Nyle DiMarco signing the movie. The technology is amazing and opens the doors to the hearing impaired being able to enjoy so many movies through sign language instead of closed caption. Read more about the initiative and technology below. Continue reading Lionsgate in Partnership with Actiview App & Nyle DiMarco to make WONDER Available For the Hearing Impaired→
This post is written on behalf of Random House Children’s Books around the book Wonder. I received no compensation but this is a campaign a can get behind. I also have an affiliate link to Amazon if you want to help support this blog.
When the movie Wonder was being released I wanted to take the kids. This is the exact kind of movie that my kids would like. However, they were not interested, that is until Eva had an assignment at school to read the book. Now, Wonder is all over our home. Eva has even made a schedule for everyone in the house to read the book. Now that the movie is available in our home we are also going to watch it as well.
Wonder, the #1 New York Times bestselling book by R.J. Palacio, and the recent hit movie, and DVD release starring Julia Roberts has inspired millions. Random House Children’s Books looks to continue to use the Wonder property to encourage kids, families, and educators nationwide to #ChooseKind in 2018 with an opt-in pledge, and a motivating consumer products line. There is also an app with daily messages of inspiration. The app is free and on iOS. You can learn more about The Year of Wonder below. Continue reading In this Year of Wonder We Will #ChooseKind.
