To Shave or Not To Shave

Shavers
Photo-A-Day #1895

For the past month I’ve been working on a site called Shave New World. This is a great site all about Norelco Shavers. I’m working on that site with Collective Bias as a content creator and consultant. Part of what I am doing there is coordinating a huge project called Makeover Your Man. Ten Bloggers were chosen to do makeovers on their husbands.Part of my role in this site is to do reviews of many Norelco Shavers. These are some of the shavers that I am reviewing/have reviewed. They range from $30 – $170 and they have tons of amazing features. I’ve never shaved this much and this often in a long time. I also got to try a bunch of trimmers and body groomers as well.

I’ll certainly be ready to go for this weekend wand next. This weekend is my cousin’s wedding and I am the photographer and next weekend I head to the Evo’10 Conference.

Had a good day today. Got to record a Geek Dad’s Weekly Episode with Daniel and Joe. Great show today talking about really good topics like the expectation of free that we see everywhere online. I know that much of that comes from bloggers asking for free stuff but it can also come from advertisers asking bloggers for free publicity. I received an e-mail today from an advertiser who wanted me to talk about a product that didn’t fit my blog. I sent back cheeky response. To her credit I got a message back and eventually through our conversation we worked out something great that will be coming. I’m really excited.

Also I want to wish a very Happy Anniversary to my parents.

  1. Thank you, Drew. It is you, your sisters, Allison, Erik, and now Eva, who have made our marriage such a wonderful and fulfilling, 37 years. Mom and I could never have asked for or enjoyed a more wonderful family. I am probably the luckiest man on earth.

    1. You are welcome Dad. We like the family a lot too. You and mom have been great role models of marriage for us all.
