Bill and Jen's Wedding ...

Yesterday my cousin Bill married his fiance Jen in Keene, NH. Allison and I stopped in Fitchburg to visit Bob and Jackie for lunch before we continued up to Keene. The wedding was very nice and the ceremony very moving. I used the new camera to tape most of it.

After the wedding we went down to Rindge to the reception at Hidden Hills. The whole family was there. We got to see all of my Aunts and Uncles. Dinner was great with some sweet dinner rolls, (they were actually sweet). Lots of dancing and excitement. And Aunt Carol made the cake, my favorite kind of cake ever because it has the best frosting ever. I’ll have some pictures up soon.

The Wedding Cake, So good get me a glass of milk and I’m all set.

There are no pictures of Allison and I yet because there were none on my camera, (I haven’t shown anyone how to use it yet) but I’ll have to get the pictures from mom’s camera to put up. Gotta show everyone how beautiful Allison looked that evening.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
