I demonstrated in Marshall, MN today and then drove back to Sioux Falls, SD. I’m hanging out at a Fairfield Inn tonight and then off to home tomorrow. This ends a marathon week of work, and travel but next week I have one demonstration over the web and then we head to Disney on Friday. It will be nice to head out on a vacation even if it is a small one.

I didn’t find much today for a picture, I walked around the Empire Mall here in Sioux Falls and didn’t see anything to take a photo of and then as I walked to my hotel I saw this guy letting the water loose from the fire hydrant and decided to take this. The whole street got flooded for a bit and so I had to hop up on the curb and dash around the water.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
