I finished the Disney 1/2 Marathon in 1 hour and 28 minutes. What a fun morning. I met a Disney cast member and skated with her for about 4 miles. She is a training leader for new cast members. I asked about becoming a photographer for Disney, my dream job. More skaters need to come with us next year.

The Disney In-line 1/2 Marathon was a blast. What is needed for the next trip would be a pace car so I can leave when I’m finished rather than wait for the buses to arrive 2 hours later. The official time in which I finished was 1:27:04, much better than I had anticipated. The new equipment was perfect, I’ve never felt better skating, I can imagine how good I would have felt had I trained. I caught up with Allison in Epcot. We called it and early night and got pizza delivery to the room.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
