Photo-A-Day #444 06/26/06

Today Allison and I went with Elise to their alma mater, Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA. We drove up in the morning, went to the bookstore, bought some SU stuff and then said hello to some of their friends who now work at the college. We then went to Front Street Station to have lunch. They have some really good buffalo wings there. Allison and I split that and a medium cheesesteak sandwich. The wings were similar to the Saint A’s wings from back when I spent many nights at the pub.

After lunch we stopped at a few shops and the Susquehanna Trading Post.

Elise took today’s photo. I thought it was a really nice one of Allison and I so that is why it gets the top billing. I took a bunch of other pictures but these three below were blogworthy.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
