The Viewsonic VX2245 ...

Yesterday I purchased a new monitor. The Viewsonic VX2245 with integrated iPod dock. I was walking through Comp USA looking for a new monitor that had integrated speakers and I came across this monitor. It is 22″ and flat screen. It has an integrated iPod dock with different holders so you have a custom fit for your iPod. The base is powered and houses a subwoofer, 4 USB 2.0 slots. One on the back, I plugged the webcam into that port. 

The base also has a microphone and an 8 in 1 media card reader. I am all about saving space and this was the perfect monitor for me. I just wish I had the restraint to come home and check out what the price was on amazon.com because I would have gotten a much better deal. I hope that my iPod arrives soon so that I can take full advantage of this monitor.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
