LEGO Ultron Edition Hulkbuster Revisited ...

I realized today that I built this set one year ago. The LEGO Ultron Edition Hulkbuster has been residing on my desk ever since. I enjoy having it here on my desk and like looking at it because it is such an interesting piece. It is huge and it took a long time to build. I did record myself building it for over two hours a year ago and you can see that video below.

At the same time as this piece came in so did all the Avengers Infinity War sets. With Avengers: Endgame right around the corner I have been on the lookout for all the new sets for that movie. I think there are at least five sets but they are not out in stores and can’t be ordered at this time. When they come in I will make sure I do some builds on video.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
