The main task of the day today was to assemble the new grill. I picked up a Char-Broil© Performance Series™ 6-Burner Gas Grill. I wanted a new grill that would have a huge surface for grilling and this baby will do 40 burgers at once. Not sure how big those would be but whatever it says 40. I also picked up a light to put on the handle and a griddle insert for grilling breakfast.
Eva helped me assemble the grill because she loves assembling things with me. She did a great job on the fire table and I had her help me more on this once I took all the parts out of the box. As soon as I got that all unpacked assembly began. It took us a couple of hours to get it assembled.
We finished just before our Friday afternoon family Zoom session. This was a nice one. My sister, Tara, asked us all to send in some pictures and we got a chance to tell a story about each of the pictures. That was nice because it gave Andy a chance to talk at an appropriate time. He did pretty good today even though it was a longer Zoom than previous ones.
Once we were finished with Zoom I ran over to Chartley Country Store to pick up something to christen the new grill. I picked up some King Cut rib-eyes to break this baby in! I can’t wait!
