Today it downpoured and that caused a few things that were already weird to get even weirder. Maybe weird is not the right word but things are different now at Church. Now we have Church in the parking lot at Saint Mary’s Church. Because of the impending downpour and the ominous clouds Mass was abbreviated. It went by so quickly and then Communion was handed out as we drove out. One of the strangest Masses ever.

After dinner we got pizza from La Strada. We were going to try and get their broasted chicken but apparently they don’t start the broaster until 6pm. So pizza it was. I was standing in the shop waiting for my pizza when the sky just opened up and rain poured down. So it was a good thing that Mass was so quick.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
