Cold Pizza from Paul’s – Feels Like Summer on The Cape

Last night we had pizza from Paul’s Pizza. It is my favorite Summertime treat. We learned that they would be closed the rest of the days that we would be on the Cape so we had to order it last night. I got plenty so that we had some left over for lunch the next day. I enjoy cold Paul’s Pizza almost as much as piping hot.

We’ve been enjoying our time down the Cape. The kids are loving having days at the beach. Luckily the crowds have moved on now that the 4th is over. We were able to enjoy a few hours at the beach and in the water. It was a very smooth water day and that was such fun for swimming. No seaweed kicked up from the boats or anything like that.

Dad and I went out shopping for dinner tonight. We had fish from The Clam Man and that included some chowder and stuffies, too.

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
