Review: WarioWare: Get It Together! for the Nintendo Switch

WarioWare

We received a free download code of the new game WarioWare: Get It Together! for the Nintendo Switch from Nintendo. Opinions are our own.

Constant movement and crazy action await in WarioWare: Get It Together!, the latest game form Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. In the game you control Wario and his friends in a never ending series of micro games. I say micro not mini because these games can last mere seconds. Constant action is what is happening here. There are also many friends of Wario that are there to help and each one has their own special ability. One can jump very high, another never stops moving and can throw boomerangs that you can control and yet another cannot move but can fire a grappling hook at rings in order to move around the screen.

Andy and I played this game for a while and it was crazy and silly and super fun. We’ll definitely be going back to it to play even more and maybe pull Allison and Eva into the frenetic insanity. There are over 200+ of these micro games and various modes for you to choose from in order to play them.

The game modes are

Story mode (1-2 players)
Wario and his friends are trapped inside their company’s latest game—and only you can help them by clearing microgames. Play this first to unlock more characters and modes.

Variety Pack (1-4 players)
Looking for a totally frantic party game to play with friends? Take on 10 wacky games with the crew of WarioWare, Inc.

Wario Cup (Online game mode)
A rotating weekly challenge where players can win trophies to earn in-game currency. By turning on Ranked Mode (Requires Nintendo Switch Online membership), players can also fight their way up the leaderboards against players worldwide or friends that are also playing the game.

Official Description
You’ll help out the infamous game designer after he gets sucked into his latest creation in Story Mode, and, for the first time, YOU control Wario and friends inside their own chaotic games. From assembling a robot to pulling out a statue’s armpit hair, WarioWare: Get It Together! is a hilarious, cooperative mashup for the whole family to enjoy.

You can learn more about WarioWare: Get It Together! for the Nintendo Switch on the WarioWare Website.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
