Unboxing A Marvel Collector Corps Holiday Box I Forgot to Open Years Ago ...

The other day I went up into the attic to organize a few things and to get some Funko Pop figures that I still have in their boxes so that I can put them up on the walls. While I was moving things around I found a Marvel Collector Corps box. I have several of them that contain Funko Pop figures. I went to open this one only to discover that it was still sealed. I did not recall having a box that I had never opened but I guess it got lost in the shuffle. The box was a holiday themed collector corps set with an Infinity Gauntlet ugly sweater t-shirt, a Holiday Thor and Holiday Groot Pop figure and some Holiday themed shoot glasses (Toothpick holders) featuring Captain America and Thanos. I took those downstairs and did an unboxing video along side a set of Funko Bobblers of Groot and Rocket Raccoon that I still had in the box, too.

Tonight we had Uncle Jimmy Christmas. I picked up Uncle Jim and then we picked up Eva and Andy. We went to Target and Andy picked out his gifts. Then we ran over to Michael’s and Eva picked out her gifts. It was getting close to when Allison would be finished at After Care and so she met us over at KC’s Classic Burger Bar for dinner. We all had excellent meals and lots of laughs. It was a very nice night with Uncle Jim.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
