Lunch with College Buddy Frank at Mick Morgan’s Irish Pub

Today I went to lunch with my college friend Frank. We met up at Mick Morgan’s Irish Pub. Neither of us had ever been there but it was in between where we each live so it was a good place to meet up. Inside it was packed completely with Irish memorabilia. They had almost everything you’d ever want in Guinness stuff. There was so much on the walls, and even the ceilings. It was very, very busy in that way.

Our lunch was so much fun. We talked for two hours and caught up on everything going on in our lives. I can’t believe it had been one year since we had last gotten together. That is really sad seeing as we live only 1/2 hour from each other. We made plans to get together again in the near future to record one of his podcasts.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
