Review: Twinkly Line

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01338

I was given a free Twinkly Line starter Kit (affiliate link) to review. Opinions are my own.My Office is full of all sorts of fun lighting effects. I have two of my LEGO sets lit up, I have a light up Game Over sign, I have a bookshelf that I made specifically for my Skylanders that has special lighting in it as well. When I was asked if I’d like to check out a Twinkly product I was more than happy to give it a shot. The Twinkly Line is a 5 foot long sleek, premium, all-black smart LED strip with an adhesive and magnetic back. I could affix it directly to my wall under some of my Funko Pop figures or I could create something new with a blank wall.

I decided to create something new. My office has this sloped wall that was unused. I decided that I would take my Hot Wheels character cars and put them on the wall using Command Strips. I’d also place a length of Hot Wheels track on the wall as well. Then I’d put the Twinkly Line on the track, sort of like the middle line on a road.

Once I had everything installed I opened the Twinkly app and got to playing with the effects that they have there. You can also create your own light effects. There are endless presets and animations. You can use your imagination and any shade, gradient, hue or tint of 16 million colors to create the ultimate decorative lighting. Twinkly Line is not the only product from Twinkly. They have a full line of products for the home and for Christmas decorating. another product for the home that I’d love to get would be the Twinkly Flex (affiliate link), a flexible tube of lights that can be formed to any shape and then you add your lighting effects to it. You can even use Twinkly with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit voice assistants, compatibility with the Homey app, and integration with Razer Chroma RGB and OMEN Light Studio for the ultimate gaming experience. I created a video of my finished project and show you what Twinkly can do.

You can get a bunch of Twinkly Apps on their Amazon.com store. Please consider using my Affiliate Links below to help me out. Thanks.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
