Our first Christmas in Florida. We got up and enjoyed some cinnamon rolls and then opened our stockings. The kids got Fitzy’s letter and enjoyed reading it. Andy decorated the cinnamon rolls with gum drops because we had gum drops.

We watched the Christmas Mass Eve at our church back home last night. I had forgotten to mention that in yesterday’s post.

For Christmas we had a bunch of snacks out, opened gifts, enjoyed a great meal and hot chocolate and more Christmas movies.

Dano and Mimi’s friend Mark came for dinner. Andy got along very well with him and enjoyed talking with him. It was a very nice day filled with some fun moments and lots of great food. The kids had a great time opening their gifts. Fitzy even snuck in one gift for Andy. When we were at Cracker Barrel Andy saw a tiny Bob Ross figure and asked if he could get it. I had already seen it and picked it up for him for Christmas so I told him no. He was unhappy with that but he didn’t make a fuss. I was able to hide it and get it to the house so that Fitzy could give it to him on Christmas. He was very happy to get it.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
