For Christmas Eve we continued to do some baking and preparing for Christmas day. We hung out at the house for the day and in the later afternoon we started watching Christmas specials and enjoying the Mikey Mouse shaped cookies that I picked up when we were at Disney Springs. We may have run to the store again, too.

Later in the evening we all got into our family pajamas and took photos by the tree. We watched A Christmas Story, A Charlie Brown Christmas and I think the Elf on the Shelf Christmas movie, too. We may have watched Home Alone during the day as well.

Before Bed Allison wrote out the yearly letter from Fitzy to the kids. We put out some cookies for Santa and went to bed.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
