It snowed today and the kids both had the day off. Th amount of snow that we received did not warrant a day off but they got one anyway. This is Andy’s snow boulder. Andy gathered up al of the snow in the front and back yard to make this. That is pretty much the extent of the snow that we got.

Yesterday I received word that my Tuesday morning Krav class was cancelled and so I went to class on Monday night instead. Luckily the classes in the afternoon today were not cancelled and the kids could go to their Jr. Krav class. The class was so small today that it was almost as if they got a private lesson from Sensei Brochu.

I think that this is helping Andy so much. All of the extra attention is really helpful.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
