Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Cup S’Mores Cookies ...

Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Cup S’Mores Cookies

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01775

Last week Andy made some S’mores cookies for their friends at Rock Climbing. They insisted on making the cookie dough from scratch and when I went to get brown sugar for the dough I picked up some pre-made cookie dough to make my own version of the cookies. I also picked up some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups to put inside the cookies. The cookie dough was Reese’s Pieces and so I took graham crackers and crushed them and put them on the bottom layer of a cupcake tin. First I sprayed the tin down with Pam and added a small pat of butter to the bottom, then the graham cracker crumbs. Next I added a couple mini marshmallows and some chocolate chips and the peanut butter cups. The top was the Reese’s Pieces cookie dough. I then baked them for 20 minutes and they all came together quite nicely.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
