Rotating the Display Case

I’ve been talking about it for a while but I finally boxed up my Skylanders, Disney Infinity and LEGO Dimensions figures. Those have been moved to the attic and I started bringing down some of my Transformers figures. I started with the crossover figures like the Megatron/ H.I.S.S. Tank, Bumblebee/A.W.E. Striker and Soundwave/Thunder Machine. I also have a crossover figure that was Transformers and X-Men and also Back to the Future. At this point those are the only figures I still purchase. I also purchase any version of Wheeljack that I can find. There are two new ones coming out that I am excited to get when they are released. One of them is hard to find and I am hoping I can pick one up on Sunday. This is a figure that has Wheeljack in his original Cybertronian form. And there is also a Transformers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure coming in October.

I’ll have more updates when I put more figures in the case.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
