Allison made me a set of these tshirts for myself and the 50+ crowd from the morning Krav classes. I gave them out to people last Thursday with instructions to wear them today and make it a surprise. They are not official shirts for the uniform so technically should not be worn in class. But for a one time thing we wore them as a joke. Unfortunately there were only 3 out of the six of us who had them there to wear them. But Miss Jen loved hers and she was so excited to wear it, her enthusiasm more than made up for the numbers.

Today was the last day of school for both Allison and Eva. After Eva’s Jr. Krav class this afternoon we went over to a new restaurant, Campfire, for dinner. We went to celebrate the end of the school year. Andy does have a half day tomorrow but we had nothing planned for dinner so we decided that tonight was going to be a celebration dinner out kind of night. The food was excellent. I got a short rib gilled cheese sandwich. It was amazing and had onion rings inside as well. So good.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
