51st Birthday …

Today was my 51st birthday. I had the day to myself and did a few things. I too a walk after dropping andy at school. then I went to Seven Arrow Farm to pick up our Black Earth compost but they had not gotten the delivery yet. They were going to get it around 11 and I was there too early. So, I left and went to Rehoboth Baking Company and got a Bacon Egg and cheese English muffin sandwich. Excellent as always. I’ll go back to Seven Arrows tomorrow.

We did burgers for dinner and had some mini lemon cupcakes to celebrate. I did try and pick up a half gallon of Peanut Butter Brownie from Bliss but for some reason it ended up as cookie dough. That was even after the kid behind the counter checked the container (it had no label but was in the peanut butter brownie spot). Oh well we enjoyed that ice cream too.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
