Prom 2025 …

Tonight was Eva’s prom. She went with four of her friends and is staying overnight at one of their houses. And that person’s dad just so happens to be Andy’s 6th grade teacher and the one who runs the theater program. He’s very fond of Andy and was singing his praises to me when I dropped off Eva to get ready with her friends.

Allison and I came back for 5pm with all the other parents and we were able to take a bunch of photos before the girls got into the car service to be taken to the Prom.

Before all that though, Eva had a half day and I took her over to get her hair done before the Prom. Mom and Dad came up from the Cape so that Mom could give Eva a pocketbook to take with her.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
