The second day of the convention is the relaxed day. Eva had a very simple cosplay today as Adaine from Fantasy High. As we walked around together there were three people that recognized the character. Eva had made three special bottle cap buttons and gave them to the three people.
after our breakfast at the bookstore down the street we came back tot he convention as it began. We decided to load upt he car and then went across the street to the SNHU center for the other part of the convention. There were things like the Big Dumb Robot convention where people displayed robots that they had fabricated with 3D printers and other materials. There were some amazing ones there, too.
Down on the floor of the arena were additional vendors. Eva found a tea to try and I picked up a set of books signed by the author and we even found some figures that andy likes to put together. They are called Eugy figures and they are made from cardboard or wood pieces that you glue together. Andy has a few of them and I sent them a photo of what ones were for sale and Andy picked out three. I told them it aht wouldbe from their own money because I had already spent the prior day getting several things for Andy. But I did decide that I'd pay for one and I also picked up a 4th one that I'll give Andy for their birthday.
After the SNHU center we walked back to the exhibit hall. eva caught up with their friends for the afternoon and I wandered down Elm street in search of lunch. I tried a few places but they were either closed or did not have what I was looking for. I finally settled on Bad BRGR. Got myself a burger in a lettuce wrap and enjoyed that. On the way back I picked up some cookies form Insomnia cookies to bring home for everyone.
When I got back to the hotel Eva was finishing up with their friends. Eva got a lemonade and was recognized as their cosplay for the third time. Actually the person came up wo me as I was holding Eva's stuff and asked if Eva was the character that they were cosplaying. I said yes and they told me to tell Eva that it was a great cosplay. I told them to wait because I knew that Eva had one last bottle cap button to give away. It made Eva's day.
We had a great time and then headed home around 2pm. It was nice not having a bunch of things that we had to do this trip and being relaxed was good for the two of us.
