As I continue to go through my comic books I keep finding gems from the past. One of my favorite studios was Wildstorm and they made this amazing set of 8 covers that all connected across their various titles. They did an amazing job with it. My new set of black comic book boxes came yesterday and I put them together last night. Today I filled them with so many of my IMAGE comics that I collected through college. I also put together 6 short boxes of comics that I want to sell. 

Andy had a friend over after school. Yesterday Andy went to their house and today they came over here. I'm very happy to see that Andy has a friend that lives close enough that they can hang out together. We've always told the kids that their friends were welcome anytime in hopes that they would have friends come over to hang out or play. It will be nice to see this happen more often.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
