Andy was asked to be a part of a special band for the Attleboro Inauguration of the Mayor and city council. The band was made up of middle schoolers from the 3 city middle schools. It was great that Andy was asked to be a part of this. We went to see the Inauguration. The band played one song and it was very nice. The whole ceremony was good. I enjoyed it. 

When we arrived we parked next to a woman that I used to train with at Krav. Her son is the kid right in front of Andy. He's going to be in 9th grade at the high school next year, too. He's also into culinary so that will be nice. I also found out that my friend used to work with the director of my play. Small world.

The woman who is playing the mother in the play that I am in was there because her husband was being sworn in as a new school committee member at large. So we did not have rehearsal tonight. But going forward Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday will be our rehearsals.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
