Mater and Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars. I found a few more of the die cast cars out here in Columbia, MO at a Wal-Mart. I’ll try and hit a few more to fill up the Cars carrying case I picked up yesterday. Hopefully I can find another Toys R’ US and get another movie ticket.

Broke my pedometer today on the flight from Providence to Pittsburgh. I forgot it was on my hip when I got on the plane and it snapped off when I got up at the end of the flight. The plastic hook for the belt is bent at a funny angle and can not be glued back together to the pedometer itself. I saw some pedometers at Target on clearance so I’ll have to pick one up back at home.

Saw a sign today for a Testicle Festival. I wasn’t in a place I could stop to catch that picture. I guess it is an annual event here in in this part of Missouri. It happened this past weekend.

I started reading Hunting Season today. Looks like this will be another good one.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
