I bought two sets of this 2026 Quest Calendar. It is a solo D&D adventure. I got two of them. One for andy and one for myself. However, I'm using .pdf files instead of the physical calendar so I gave my copy to Eva after I 3D printed a holder for her. The way this works is that you do part of a quest every day of the year. You have 6 characters to choose from or you can create your own character. You play as a villain, so it should be fun to be a little bad.

I decided that I'd be setting mine up on a document on Google so that I could keep track of everything.

Other things I started doing today was reading my comic book collection from the beginning starting with the original Transformers comics. I intend to read at least 4 comics a day, maybe more. We'll see how far I get in my collection this year.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
