Andy, Entertainer ...

Tonight andy had three friends come over for games and, pizza and a movie. Their friends, Nyla, Avery and Jazzie came over. I probably should have timed the pizza better. I placed the order and it was ready right before the friends came over. I ran out around the corner, grabbed it and got right back but wasn't there in time to meet one of the kids' parents but Andy said that they just dropped the girls and left. The last to show up was Nyla and her mom came in and we chatted for a bit. She liked the bookshelf in the hallway.

So, I made myself scarce and headed up to my office. I could listen how things were going and it sounded like the kids were having a fun time. Then it got quiet. I went downstairs and again I had missed one of the parents or I still would have missed them because they did not come in. The girls just went out to the car. But, I came down and said goodnight to Nyla and her mom.

Afterwards Andy did a nice job of taking care of cleaning the living room and putting thins away. I'm glad that Andy was able to do some nice things with their friends.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
