Today was Saint Patrick's Day and I put 3 corn beef briskets in the crock pot and Instant pot. They were made using a Killian's Red as the liquid in the crock pots. The one in the Instant Pot also had a Dragon Fire Oatmeal Cookie Stout that Allison noticed had a sort of Caramel taste to us. We did Points and a flat and once again weren't sure which type it is that we like more. I used the package of spices with crock pot and not the one in the Instant Pot. However, when I was taking it all out after 8 hours I found the little plastic package did in fact make it into the Instant Pot. It did not open, though, so that is good.

We basically ate everything so quickly that I never got a photo of the meal before we devoured it. We had plenty left over for a few more days of Corned Beef Hash.

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
