Everyone had the day off from school today. Allison and Eva are already out of school but Andy still has a week left. Allison and Eva went and got haircuts and later on I took Andy with me over to An Unlikely Story. Andy had some gift cards and picked up a watercolor set and a special book for painting watercolors of birds. Andy said that they would pace themselves as they painted so as not to go through the whole book too quickly.

In the afternoon I went to work at The Pretzel Factory. Today was a very short day. I only worked 3 hours but the first hour was super busy. More busy than normal. One of the people from ACT had come in for pretzels and then he went and left a review of the place and mentioned me. My boss there was very happy. Then we had an order from one of the marriage prep couples that we work with. They had gotten pretzels from me a while back, too. I keep trying to bring in more customers.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. 2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
