Today was my last day on the Cape. I had to get home for a meeting of the Attleboro Community Theater and then I have to work in the office this weekend. Allison and I went for our morning walk and then I took Eva to Science School, came back and got Andy and took them to Science School and then headed home. I made a couple of stops like Somerset Creamery and then home to pick up my comics and prescriptions. I wanted to get a Detroit style pizza from Rehobeth Baking Company for dinner but the wait was 45 minutes. So I said nope and headed to bliss to try one of the smash burgers. It was pretty good.

At the board meeting I got my trustee position and that is the Grants trustee. In a month or so I'll have to start writing grants for the theater. I figure it will get me into shape to work on looking for scholarships for Eva, too. Same idea, different implemnetation.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.

Christmas Tree Is Up ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02510 Yesterday we put up the trees and today we decided to decorate the tree after dinner. Our tree is now mostly our family photo ornaments. We have a bunch of ornaments but with over 20 years of family photo ornaments it look like the predominant ornament type that we'll see. We did get a 2025 Hallmark one as well and I have to select this year's photo.
