I finally smartened up and froze some of my pretzels so that I could enjoy them throughout the weekend. By freezing them I can pop them into the air Fryer for 5 minutes and have nice hot and fresh soft pretzels as intended. If I leave them on the counter they start to absorb the salt and get gummy. One night is fine but beyond that, no good.

When I went into the Pretzel Factory today for my shift 11:00am - 3:00pm I was greeted by my boss frantically making trays and trays of rivets (Pretzel bites) because he had an order going out at 11:15 for 4 large Rivet trays. The oven wasn't up to temp yet and he wasn't even sure if he had enough stock for the order. It was chaos for the first hour but we got it taken care of and he even put in 6 heart shaped pretzels because this order was for a wedding. The bride is a big fan of The Philly Pretzel Factory and wanted a bunch of our branded stuff to have at the reception including a ton of cups and other things.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
