Some Autocrat for National Ice Cream Day ...

Today was National Ice Cream Day and we did not have anything I liked in the house. So, I went over to Seabra and found a pint of Autocrat Coffee Milk and Cookies from Warwick Ice Cream. It was excellent. I spent the day wondering if Eva would have to go to Jury Duty tomorrow. The kid barely turns 18 and is nailed with the civic duty right away. Luckily, she did not have to interrupt her time at her job on the Cape to have to go in for Jury Duty. We were lucky.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
