Fairy Mushroom Garden ...

My mom was up visiting from the Cape today. I went over and took a walk with her around my Aunt Donna's neighborhood. One of the houses had this little fairy house and mushrooms.

Then I had work and today was another day with our student intern. By the time I got home every part of my nerve endings was fried. The kid is autistic and very very loud. I try and be as patient as possible. Not easy.

When I headed home I dropped back over to my Aunt's house to drop off pretzels for her. also some of my coffee caramel dip for the pretzels.

Review: Lumibricks Izakaya Building ...

The folks from Lumibricks sent me their latest building set, the Izakaya for free to build and review. Opinions are 100% my own. I've built a few sets from Lumibricks (formerly FunWhole) in the past and they are really fun and interesting. The photo above is of the Izakaya and also The Apartment. they are both part of a Cyberpunk theme called Neoncity. At this time there are also two additional buildings that you can build and add to this whole theme, the Game Stack and the Floating Train Station. The great things about these sets is that they light up. As you build you are also adding lights and wires and ways to illuminate the amazing build. Once you're done building you fire up some power and the lights blaze up. With Neoncity sets you get some incredible Nenon effects light signs and even neon tube lights. That is one of the coolest things about these sets is how the lights are incorporated into the build. Some very innovative bricks were made in order to thread the wiring...

2025 Family Ornament ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02515 We put our tree up the other day and I had already bought the 2025 Hallmark Keepsake ornament for our yearly family photo ornament. I love these ornaments on the tree. We have them from 2005 to now.
